Location and how to find us

We are located on the ground floor in the Magnoli Building, Shop 2/1328 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach. The best way to find us is to type 32 Brooke Avenue, Palm Beach into your GPS. There is parking underneath the Magnoli Building, or on 19th Avenue or Brooke Avenue.

When arriving to your appointment, please make sure you have plenty of time to find a park and settle in – we want you to have a relaxing experience with your stylist and to have the full appointment time allocated to you. If you get lost, give us a call! 0401 641 358

Tuesday 8.00am – 6.00pm

Wednesday 11.00am – 9.00pm

Thursday 11.00am – 9.00pm

OUR POLICIES

CANCELLATIONS

To cancel or reschedule, log into your Timely account with your phone number.

All clients are asked to enter card details at the time of booking. A 50% deposit is required at the time of your booking. If you need to to cancel or change your appointment, we require 48 hours notice. Cancelling / rescheduling your appointment with under 48 hours notice will incur a 50% fee.

If you fail to attend your appointment or are more than 30 minutes late you will incur a 100% fee.

Deposits are forfeited for cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours. Failing to attend your appointment will result in a 100% fee being charged.

Cancellations made over 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled or refunded UPON REQUEST.

We understand that life can be unpredictable and plans may change. This policy helps us to manage our schedule, ensuring that everyone gets the time and attention they deserve x

ADJUSTMENTS/CHANGE OF MIND

At The Tortoise and The Hair, we pride ourselves on quality work, quality products and a highly trained team. We aim to provide thorough consultations prior to your service and we endeavour to ensure all clients leave the salon 100% satisfied. However, if you find that you are unhappy with the end result we will redo your hair at no extra charge. This is strictly within 7 days of your visit. This does not apply to change of mind as this will be charged. We do not offer refunds. If you are not using salon grade shampoo and conditioner or your hair is compromised we cannot guarantee results.

RUNNING LATE

Running over 15 minutes late may result in your appointment being rescheduled to our next availability, in which case you will be charged for 100% of the services booked before being rescheduled. If we decide based on our discretion that we can accommodate you the same day by shortening your service, you will be charged the full price of the services booked. This is all done in order to avoid inconveniencing our other clients who are booked after you. We will always do our best to run on time for your scheduled reservations, and we thank you so much for respecting our time as well!

CHILDREN IN THE SALON

Our salon is a small, intimate space meaning unfortunately we do not have space for extras in the salon. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, but our sanctuary is not suitable for children (unless they are having a haircut). This is so you may receive the highest level of service and the best result with your stylist! 

We are always here to answer any questions or concerns about anything to do with the salon and your appointment and are always available to talk to you about any queries.
